Betsey Webb, age 52, passed away unexpectedly on April 30, 2018 in Anchorage, Alaska. She passed with her closest loving family by her side.
Betsey was born June 30, 1965 and was originally from the east coast. She, her husband Matthew, and two young daughters moved to Alaska in the summer 1992. Here they had many adventures living together across the state from Fairbanks, Selewick, the Copper River Basin, and Delta Junction.
Betsey had recently moved to Valdez to be closer to her daughters and grandchildren. She was known as a trusted, loving, and caring mother and grandmother, an exceptional cook, and maker of beautiful bead work.
She was always there to lend an ear, coffee, and encouragement. She loved and could not be separated from her Dachshunds.
She was predeceased by her beloved grandmother Elizabeth.
She is survived by her two daughters Sarah Fithian and Jessica McMillen and 10 grandchildren.
A memorial account has been set up at Wells Fargo to help Betsey’s family with the final unexpected expenses.
No service will be held as per Betsey’s wishes. A scattering of ashes will be held at a date to be determined.
