David Lee Wilson, of Sulphur, Oklahoma, was born August 5, 1955 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Troy and Wanda June (Southwell) Wilson. He passed away at home on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Sulphur, Oklahoma at the age of 63 years 2 months and 8 days.
David grew up in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and lived in several areas while his father served in the military. David served as a cook in the U.S. Navy from 1975 to 1977. He moved to Sulphur in 1992 and was as a seasonal worker for the Chickasaw National Recreation Area for many years. In 2009 David was able to return to Alaska where he served as a civilian cook for the Department of Defense at Fort Greely, Alaska.
David and Andrea (Roloson) Haley were married on Sept. 14, 2010 in Delta Junction. David enjoyed hunting and fishing and, on occasion in his younger days, a bar fight or two, and riding his Harley in the old Evergreen Bar. He loved spending time with his friends at the Moose Lodge in Delta Junction.
He was preceded in death by his father and is survived by his wife, Andrea Wilson; daughters, Chrystal and Jessie; mother, Wanda June Wilson of Lawton, Okla.; sister, Charlotte Miller of Lawton, Okla.; 3 grandchildren and nephews, and many cousins.
