A power outage Sunday night left 265 Delta area customers without power according to the GVEA website. Spokesperson Corinne Bradish said the outage was reported at 11:43 p.m. and a crew was dispatched from Fairbanks to address the issue.
Bradish says the crew patrolled and inspected lines and found some minor equipment failures like blown fuses, damaged insulators, and trees in the lines. Power was restored at 6:19 a.m. A crew remained in Delta on Monday working on cleanup from the weather.
Similar outages were reported in Fairbanks during the night as well.
