Although travel has been limited for many student activities, we are still competing virtually. Culinary Arts 1 and 2 students prepare for the ProStart Challenge despite the event not being hosted in person. Delta High School won last year, and we are preparing to keep that title again.

The sounds of balls bouncing, athletic shoes screeching, whistles blowing, and buzzers ringing welcomed about 150 fans to the first high school basketball game in a very long time. The only things that were missing was the smell of popcorn and the taste of a hot pretzel and hotdogs.
After what has virtually seemed like a day that would never arrive, Delta High School will once again be having live in-person basketball starting tonight at 5 p.m.
This year has certainly been different for many students. To give the opportunity for more students to showcase their work, we reached out to Delta Junior High School English Teacher Samantha Bopp who shared some of the stories written by her students.

Delta Greely School District schools reopen following the Christmas and New Year’s holidays today with remote learning and will return to in classroom learning for all schools beginning Tuesday, Jan. 12. Schools will be opened at the medium risk level.
