Autumn is in the air, and that means the cross country running season is upon us. The Delta High School team has a new coach after the retirement of longtime coach Mike Pelto. Dr. Tom Graves is the new counselor at the junior and senior high and is the also the new cross country coach.

The Monroe Catholic Rams scored four unanswered points in the final 1:13 of play on Thursday afternoon and escaped with a tough 52-48 victory over the Delta Huskies in the second round of the Aurora Conference Basketball Tournament in Fairbanks.
