A little warmer and dryer weather made the fields playable at the city park and the DHS softball team was able to finally swing, hit, and run at home this past Saturday. Competing in a conference and JV level game, Monroe and Delta battled until the last minute of each game. The Huskies pulled out single run wins for both games.
The Delta softball team congratulated the seniors on the team that will be leaving. Alyssa Hooton, Nikkia Jordan, and Kaidence Wrigley were recognized and sent off with hands full of flowers, baskets, and balloons.
