As the summer break from school soon reaches its close, school athletic officials are getting prepared for the start of practice. Several sports start practice before school starts and those wishing to participate need to be ready for the first day of practice.

In addition to being physically active and ready to practice, the ever-necessary paperwork needs to be completed. The Delta High School has a new sports website,, which has all the needed forms and other information. Forms can be downloaded and printed from the site. Most forms can be completed online at

Athletes and parents need to complete the Code of Conduct Contract, Play for Keeps form after having watched the required video, Sudden Cardiac Arrest information form, Concussion information form, and COVID-19 Waiver and Release form.

Parents need to complete the Authorization to Release Medical Information form and make sure the athlete has a current physical on file. Authorization forms and physicals are good for 18 months.

Fees must also be paid. Fees are $150 per season for each athlete with a maximum of $300 for a family. For students outside of the school district the fee is $400 per athlete, per season. There is no family cap for non-school district athletes. Fees can be paid at the school office or online on the PlanetHS website.
