The Delta Running Club hosted its first real, live race in almost 18 months on Tuesday to celebrate National Star Wars Day on May 4. The non-competitive, multi-sport event drew a large crowd of people participating on foot, on bikes, scooters and any other human powered mode of transportation. 

The Delta High School Girls Softball team opened the 2021 season this past Saturday vs the Monroe Rams on a beautiful sunny spring day. The Huskies, behind strong pitching and hot bats, cruised past the Monroe Rams.

The sounds of balls bouncing, athletic shoes screeching, whistles blowing, and buzzers ringing welcomed about 150 fans to the first high school basketball game in a very long time. The only things that were missing was the smell of popcorn and the taste of a hot pretzel and hotdogs.
